Toilet Spill in San Diego, CA

This minor flood spread from the toilet into the bedroom. The water spill is categorized as a three. A category three spills is water damage that is unsanitary, it is also known as black water. This water most likely contains human waste. This disaster was caused by a clogged toilet. The SERVPRO of Mid-City San Diego team was able to clean the mess, then find the wet areas. SERVPRO of Mid-City San Diego also took off the carpeting. Since it was a category three it is no longer safe to restore, but should be replaced. Once the areas were identified we brought in drying along with deodorization equipment. The customers was pleased their home no longer had bad odor and were able to move back into their room.
